Healthy Libraries, Healthy Communities
Healthy Libraries, Healthy Communities is a 6 month wellness project partially funded by the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Mid-Atlantic Region. The primary goals of the project are to increase healthy behaviors and to improve health literacy. Information will be communicated online and in-person through a series of presentations, social media tools and email.
Components of the program include:
- Kick-off event with Dr. Brian Wansink
- Monthly Wellness Webinars
- Participation in Active for Life
- Final Health & Wellness event to be held in conjunction with SCRLC’s Annual Meeting
